Kindergarten Drop-Off

My wife and kids and I just moved back to the San Francisco Bay Area. We have been away for 12 years and I have taught in New Mexico for the past 11 of them. My wife and I really miss New Mexico but decided to come back to California so that our kids could grow up around family. I am taking a whole year off from teaching to help with the transition. My oldest son is just starting kindergarten and we have him enrolled in a public school here that is a two-way immersion school–Spanish and English.
